Sometimes the best place to work with your dog is right at home. In-home training lets us address challenges in the environment where they happen and develop practical skills that fit your everyday life.

I serve families throughout the Pioneer Valley from two locations: Shelburne Falls, which serves the northern part of the region, and Amherst, which serves the Amherst/Northampton area. The map shows these two locations and the surrounding communities I serve.
Whether you're welcoming a new puppy, working on everyday skills, or looking for help with anxiety, fear, or other behavior concerns, I tailor our sessions to your dog, your household, and your goals.
Training Services
I offer a range of private training services to help you and your dog navigate everyday life together.
Depending on your needs, we might focus on puppy development and socialization, everyday skills and obedience, calm living, or concerns involving anxiety, fear, and other challenging behaviors.
Training is individualized, with an emphasis on helping you understand your dog and build skills that work in real life.​
In-Home Training
Working with your dog at home can be especially helpful when you want to address challenges in the places where they happen. I offer in-home appointments throughout the Amherst/Northampton and Shelburne Falls/Greenfield areas, typically within about a 30-minute drive of Amherst or Shelburne Falls.

A travel fee applies to in-home appointments and is based on distance from my Amherst office. If you're located farther away, I may be able to travel to you when the additional travel time is covered by the travel fee.

How In-Home Appointments Work
During an in-home appointment, we can work on the situations that matter most to you, from household routines and settling calmly to specific behavior challenges. You'll receive individualized guidance and practical strategies you can continue using between sessions.

I offer in-home appointments throughout the Amherst/Northampton area, the Shelburne Falls/Greenfield area, and surrounding communities.

A travel fee applies to in-home appointments and is based on distance from the office location serving your area. I typically travel within about 30 minutes of Shelburne Falls or Amherst, but may be able to accommodate locations farther away when the additional travel time is covered by the travel fee.
Scheduling an In-Home Appointment
Appointment availability depends on your location.

Amherst/Northampton Area: I see clients at my downtown Amherst office one day per week, on either Mondays, Saturdays, or Thursdays depending on the week. In-home appointments are also available throughout the area. Travel fees are based on distance from Amherst.

Shelburne Falls/Greenfield Area I see clients in this area most weekdays and Saturdays, with in-home appointments available throughout the surrounding communities. Travel fees are based on distance from Shelburne Falls.
