Congratulations! You have a new puppy! Now what!?? Should you go with an online course, in-person group class, or private lessons? Good question!
At Western Mass Dog Training, we think a combination is ideal, and have designed the perfect hybrid course with online content, group instruction, and private training. The only all-in-one package of its kind!
The truth is that most of the work raising a puppy is studying and practicing on your own (a lot!). But you also need a group setting for socialization with other puppies and relaxation skills, and private instruction for individually tailored feedback.
Our unique approach provides a mini online course in a comprehensive library format "training map," a group socialization and relaxation class, a private lesson, and two individual feedback reviews on video submissions. PRIVATE FEEDBACK
ON 2 VIDEO SUBMISSIONS
Practice makes perfect!

Did you know that one of the most effective ways to enhance your training is by recording yourself and receiving detailed feedback from an instructor? Our video review instruction allows you to practice your best take and then receive personalized feedback—all in a private setting. No need to feel under pressure in front of a group class!
Your first video and homework assignment will involve recording yourself to establish a strong foundation in basic training mechanics. Subsequently, your second video review will serve as your final homework assignment—a take-home task tailored to your progress after your private lesson!

PRIVATE LESSON (50 min)
Daily training routine and safe introductions

During your private lesson, we focus on establishing a daily training routine tailored for your puppy. We cover fundamental skills such as the basics of loose leash walking, mastering the "recall" command, and techniques to enhance obedience training by gradually introducing distractions, increasing distance, and extending duration.
Following your private lesson, you'll receive a personalized homework assignment aligned with your individual needs and your puppy's progress. This assignment will serve as your second video submission for personalized instructor feedback.
