Relaxation & Listening Mini-Course
Thursday 7:30 pm, April 11, 18, 25

Build core relaxation, listening, and communication skills at a fraction of the price of private training programs!
Does your dog exhibit boundless energy or constantly crave your attention? Does it go into a frenzy at the slightest noise or disturbance, making it challenging to get its focus when excited? Is it reactive to people or other dogs, or unable to settle down if left alone? Have you found limited success with other methods to curb unwanted behaviors?
If you find yourself nodding along, then you and your dog could greatly benefit from our Relaxation and Listening Mini-Course. In this class, you'll gain access to fundamental relaxation, communication, and planning exercises that are the cornerstone of our behavioral modification programs. Through a simple, proven meditation technique, your dog will learn to embrace deep relaxation independently, potentially yielding life-changing results in as little as 7 days. This technique can reduce problems like excessive barking, pacing, whining, anxiety, fearfulness, aggression, and demanding behavior, and be seamlessly integrated into your daily routine.
The meditation technique is complemented with core communication and reinforcement protocols that empower your dog to focus on and respond to your cues, fostering a sense of security and encouraging better decision-making. Finally, you'll assess your dog's behavioral issues and learn to map them into an effective framework for continued improvement.
Through three live video calls, we will guide you in implementing the protocols by troubleshooting any issues that arise and ensuring your progress stays on track. Additionally, you'll benefit from concise high quality video tutorials, access to a supportive Facebook group, and personalized feedback on homework submissions. These resources will equip you with new techniques to address underlying anxiety that fuels reactive behaviors, refine your rewarding skills, and teach your dog new coping mechanisms, thereby accelerating your dog's learning process.
Our approach extends beyond mere obedience commands, aiming to integrate natural, desirable behaviors while enhancing the reliability of existing commands. By incorporating the meditation exercise, which effectively resets a dog's parasympathetic nervous system, we facilitate profound relaxation, elevating your dog's resilience to stressors. This reduction in underlying anxiety, often a driver of reactive and anxious behaviors, is complemented by clearer communication and expectations, fostering a cooperative relationship between you and your dog. Through establishing a positive reward history, we nurture proactive, positive behaviors, empowering your dog with alternative coping mechanisms to handle stressors. Ultimately, this leads to a more harmonious relationship centered around mutual understanding and relaxation. Bid farewell to constant corrections and embrace a future of proactive engagement and mutual fulfillment.
