What happens after puppy socialization?

As puppies grow, many begin to struggle with overexcitement, jumping, and difficulty focusing—especially around other dogs. This is a normal part of adolescence, but it can feel overwhelming without the right guidance.

For dogs who are a good fit, I offer small, structured group classes called Mutt Mixers, where we practice real-world social skills in a supportive environment. These classes focus on helping dogs learn how to stay calm and responsive around other dogs—not just during play, but in everyday situations like passing on leash or settling nearby.

Mutt Mixers are offered on a limited, pre-approved basis. Many dogs are introduced to this work through puppy socialization classes or private sessions.
